Capital. Capital/Partner Wanted: Sports Company

Hi all,

I am new here and have not done this before but I came across the forum and decided to try it.
I currently buy and sell Softball/Baseball equipment on the internet.
I want to venture into my own legit Sports Company and have Softball/ Baseball Bats/Equipment manufactured for me and then sell them.
My plans are to piggy back off a company for the first 1-2 yrs max to get my name and product out there and then work toward developing the bats/equipment to fit my needs.
I know plenty of people around the country and internationally as well as play ball myself around the country. I have the vision set into motion, I just need a little help.
What I am looking for is someone interested in helping with a small investment ( I mean small ), or investment/ partner to get this started. I have plenty of contacts to start, I'm just not a savvy marketer.
I do have help from a free business center that is helping me with my business plan and marketing.
If interested, PM me here with an e-mail address and we can go from there.
Thank you,
Rob

Do you already have customers lined up to buy these products? Are you selling to consumers or wholesale?
If you have customers, which if you don't I suggest you get, you should collect payments from these customers to fund the initial startup. Get a private labeling deal to cut startup costs, and away you go.

Good idea. One problem, Softball/ Baseball players are fickle about Bats for the most part. They need to be able to see the bat in action as well as swing it themselves before buying. They need to see if it is balanced, end loaded, etc.
I will be selling to both c and w.
