Hello everyone!

Let me introduce myself, I'm 15 and live in the UK. I'm into technology and enjoy writing as well as being a keen graphics artist. I'm also trying to learn PHP in my spare time!

I've got 5 weeks of free time now (just completed my exams, summer holidays!) and have planned my first major business venture. Interested? Read on...

What's the idea
The idea is simple yet original. A review website run by teens. So, who would use this? You want to buy your teenage son/daughter/brother/sister/cousin/aunt's sister's friend something for their birthday or for the festive season. Which reviews do you trust?

The plan is that we provide reviews written by teens - so you can write about the item from a teen perspective.

Who are we looking for?
I don't like placing boundaries, so anyone can apply if you are interested.
Useful skills would be:

• Web Design
• Writing Skills

Even if you do not possess these skills but feel you can contribute to the venture, please do not hesitate at all to apply.

We are looking for innovative individuals and good grammar would certainly be welcomed.

Finally, you don't need experience and you don't need to be a minimum age. To have as wide a range as reviews as possible we are looking for ladies and gentlemen! If you are considering becoming a writer, you would ideally need to be a teenager but if you wish to handle more of the web design side of things, age does not matter.

I would be available for web design... I am 18 (going on 19) next month so I doubt I'd be qualified for a writer, but I can help you out a bit with the website design and I have minimum knowledge in PHP and MySQL so I could possibly (note I said possibly) help you in this field.

Though I could do the reviews (I have pretty good English skills and grammar), I'd probably opt not to as i'm not really 'keen' enough to produce quality content.

I can do the entire php development, or there are also some boxed solutions to make review websites which I can set up.

but the most important thing for a website like this to be a success is publicity. I may not be able to help with that.

Can you specify how you will go about revenue sharing ?
I would suggest that you make a financial plan with all the expenses, display it here, and put in 50-60% yourself. Other members can invest in the remaining, and then share the revenue as per this initial investment %age.

Rejoice - Sorry I'm not entirely sure I know exactly what you want to ask. We will review quite a wide range of items and users of the website can also suggest what they would like reviewed.

Just wanted to give a brief update.

We're now just working on the development of the website and blog. Currently, we have two people who are willing to write and many more who have expressed an interest in this project.
