British Hacker Cell:: Invent the worlds first totally secure laptop computer!
A british team of computer scientists have invented the worlds first totally secure laptop computer. Using a variety of technologies, features and techniques the "Proteus Computer" offers consumers an experience that ensures totally safe computing all the time they are online.
Although still on the bench (so to speak), the design has passed concept stage and met all the stringent tests that will be required to meet the requirements. Once complete the laptop will be attached to the Internet and will be marketed as the worlds first totally secure laptop computer.
Chief Scientist "Cibermole" said - the real test will come when the honeypot is activated and the bees come to take a bite. "Bet they won't like the taste of this one".
Proteus is expected to be released one year from today for demonstration to UK Government. The team require funding and support from the Linux community in order to meet the deadline.
If you know of anyone who would like a piece of the worlds first totally secure laptop computer, please email sryan at intrench dot com.

In what way is it totally secure hydra? I've always been taught you can't totally secure any computer. Just because it runs Linux? That means nothing.

Hi ncik,
The answer lies in asking the right questions. I am from the security intelligence industry which encourages people to think differently about solving security problems, rather than simply concentrating effort on solving problems in the same general way. For example (Secure.Intel) would have identified 911 as a realistic threat, whereas convential security perspective would have either not identified the threat at all - or placed it in a low risk category,
Proteus is secure because it encoprorates a unique algorithm, which unlike Googles patented algorithms - cannot be broken.
Linux is an excellent platform for developing the OS - primarily because it is open source and more importantly because the people who engineered it happen to be excellent candidates for building the worlds first truly secure laptop computer.
If you know of anyone who is willing to help fund this project, please let me know. They are likely to help us make an impact beyond that of Microsoft.

You've explained nothing, and are presumably just messing around.
First you quote this so called invention as if someone else has invented it, then you reply trying to explain how it works. Your website implies that someone else has invented it, then you try to gain capital.
I think you should rethink how you want to con people, rewrite your website in a convincing, professional way, and you might do a bit better.

Thanks for your advice ncik. I have altered the website - bigger update tomorrow. It was put together rather frantically and comprises blog entries written and released in numerous moments of inspiration by me (in mixed contexts and to generate interest) and then very sloppily amalgamated in the centre of the site content - at best painting a very confusing message. I do understand where your scepticism comes from. We are not marketers, but we are not con men either.
I posted on this site, to contact people who may be able to help me finance this vision. In any case if i wanted to con people, i would have done so much more subtely. I cannot imagine any investor falling for that level of con.
So you want to know "in what way is it totally secure?". ans. It is totally secure because nobody can break into the computer - unless you as the operator allows them to of course. I want to inspire others to join the race to develop the worlds first totally secure computer because::
A. The more brains focused on this noble cause, the greater the chances of arriving at even better solutions.
B. Because we have already developed the algorithm, so we know we are the first.
Thanks again for your interest and please do follow up, if you can help.

You're still not answering any questions, and you're talking yourself round in circles. You should get a marketing guy on your team if you openly admit that you're "not marketers". If you've genuinely got a new product that's crucial.

Is the IT Security Industry - One big fishy Joke?
High Nick,
I can't tell you how it is designed right now. It would be inappropriate and totally irresponsible of me. I understand that there is a process of building confidence between investors. The only thing i can suggest right now is that you keep looking at the websites at (www dot intrench dot com) and (www dot innovationwarfare dot com).
I believe that you, like others will come to understand the way we think and more importantly that there is hope at the end of the IT security rainbow. And that it doesn't involve asking the same old questions, only to arrive at the same old answers.
Regards,
Stephen

Hi Cyrus, where are you from and are you a potential investor? I know this forum is for those who are interested in the young entrerpreneur scene and perhaps many of those giving advice are young entrepreneurs themself - but we are really only interested in talking to people who have the ways and means of sharing the burden in our vision, via investment. We will give you a sign and more as long as we know more about you and whether you could be a legit investor. It is all too easy to share out information, but we would not be responsible to our company if we just gave away information to everyone - not in a position to help.
Thanks for your interest. Stephen
