The Business plan is to start the first Paintball Field on my island. I am aware that the tourist rate has increased in the Bahamas, especially my island, Abaco. It is also known as the "Sailing Capital" of The Bahamas. There is nothing here like this, nor is there anything to do entertaining to be done. There is NO competition here, but i have planned ahead for it. So i am sure it will be prosperous. In my plan i have also included a kiddie corner for the children tat will not be able to compete in the sport. They will have there choices of board games, electronic games and as much books and toys to occupy their time while parents and older siblings just indulge in the excitement of the sport. This is my dream.

Take this as constructive criticism:

There are number of issues with this proposed venture that concern me. However, I will address one of the most troubling to begin. If you can overcome it, we can work through some of the other issues.

If I take my family to the Bahamas on vacation (which would obviously be a rare a special occurrance), why would we take time away from other Bahamian activities to do something that we can simply do back home when we return?

That's going to be one of your biggest obstacles.

If you want, put it in your own terms to understand. Take something that you can do anytime you want there near your home in the Bahamas as an example. If you went on a one week vacation with your immediate family to NYC or to London, would you take a half day of your vacation to do that same thing that you can do near your home anytime you want?

Here is a simple yet easy way to post your proposal.

1- I would like to start a paint ball field
2- I need $25,000 to start my venture
3- I'm offering terms of 15% for 2 years
4- I will spend my money on (land, equipment, and labor)
5- The equity that I have is...
6- My experience is... (specific to your venture and in general business)

You can give this information with out giving away your entire business plan. If you were to give this info you would get a much better response. These are the basics. There is a lot more info you would need to have prepared if you are going to solicit for an investor. Please for the love of the time I need to drink a beer... give the basics from the get go...
