    Zero Dollar Business

    Hi guys,

Just wanted to know how many of you guys have actually started your business with nothing or less than $50...

When I started out, I was fresh from school and I just had $30, my laptop and my internet connection from home. With that I bought a few clay soaps from across the border, Malaysia, sold it in Singapore. Did a few posters with Photoshop, market online and rolled the money back to buy more soap and today i've establish a distribution channel selling this soap.

That was how I started. Just wanted to know anyone here did the same...Was lost, no money...eventually got an idea, started doing it and today you are doing pretty well...

I hope to hear more stories...

*Everyone have a different path, so what's yours..

I started with $0. I have always had strong writing skills so I posted a few ads on craigslist and various other ad sites for web content writing services and within in hours I was getting responses and by the end of that day I had four projects locked up. Weeks later I turned that writing service into a business. I am no longer involved in much of the day to day management of it, but it is still going strong.

Started with 2,700. It was a tough process, but it had 35k in sales first year off of 400 in advertising, not to shabby.
