Your feedback on First Banner Museum

Recently (several days ago) me and my bro' opened a website called "First Banner Museum" - http://www.firstbannermuseum.com/

We are doing research about banners (it's written on the website) and so decided to make such site - futhermore i haven't heard that such thing was ever made before.
Goals of the project: collect biggest banner collection, get some financial support for our internet projects and researches, provide users of First Banner Museum advertisement opportunities.

It would be nice if you comment. I am interested in anything you think about FirstBannerMuseum:
- how you like design
- idea itself
- functionality
- promotion methods we can use to promote project
- may be you have some advices how to improve project

please give your oppinion even if you say - "shit!"

p.s.: actually one thing that i'am dreaming about is making a production of carbon-fiber products in my country.

Thanx in advance

Fix the link, you left out the r at the end of banner.

The link in your post does not work. You left out the letter "r" at the end of "banner" in your url.

I don't say this often but, I like what you are doing.

You are essentially asking people to rate advertisements: there is a billion dollar business somewhere in that.

At any rate, work quickly, do stuff like "Top Ten Weirdest banners", give people awards for the "Funniest Banner", and other assorted product gimmicks.

As always, having an interesting product, is only the smallest part of the equation. I pray that you've got a personality, that you are sociable, inspiring, and less than irritating.

Update: Just looked at your team. Consider me on your side.

Anyway it seems like an interesting idea, a novelty really. I wouldn't expect a large returning member base though.
