    Young Entrepreneur Interviews

Do you remember the BusinessWeek.com top 25 young entrepreneurs on the planet feature?

It was a huge feature that showed the 25 best young entreprenuers, well I have gone one step further....

    I have been interviewing them

These are a world exclusive, but most importantly you may find their answers interesting and informative.

    Here are the first three:

    Entrepreneur Interview one

    Entrepreneur Interview two

    Entrepreneur Interview three

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

    I like Issac's story

I'm a big fan of quality problem formulation

It's just so very rare to hear founders define the problem they are solving

CulturalConnect is gonna have that issue

I agree. That was part of the inspiration to do these interviews.

I also like that Issac has capitalised on workplace insight, and has shot for an entreprise opportunity

    Consumer facing shops are depressing

How did you manage to get an interview with them? Was it via email?

Wow, that Isaac founded his company when he was 16. What balls. Great read.

yeah...like 5 years(??) from concept to break even

there'd be very few financiers or cofounders willing to slog it out for that long

every one wants a "12 quarters tops" exit

Even when they see the strength in a business, do they still want the 3 year turnaround? In the interview he said it has always grown fast, I would stay in a venture which was expanding for sure, but thats me...

    hhe

think of this from a cofounder perspective

your friend, let's call him daniel, asks you to help him out with a business

four years in, you're still not making enough money to pay your self a proper salary, you've got a pregnant girlfriend pushing for marriage and all your friends in corporate America are on 3 times what you're on

how many more years of this "road to success" can you hack before you quit?

I know some bad stories like this...

Yes I agree with that akula, though I would have thought a cofounder would get aprox the same as the founder?

I thought cofounder meant the 'other founder' (eg. two people made the business together, so they have exactly the same stake). I learned something this morning then!

4 – Did you want to be an entrepreneur when you were a child?
When I was really young, I wanted to be an airplane. After I realized I couldn’t do that, I wanted to be an astronaut.

I don't think anyone can become and airplane.. O' the fascinations of a child's mind.
