    Lightbulb YE members business' directory

    YE members business' directory.

We need one. This is assuming there isn't one and I didn't just over look it.

SO the topic is going to come up of course of what exactly would be considered a legitimate business? In my opinion as long as it is a REGISTERED company that is actively doing or seeking to do business.

I started on YE a few years ago now not long after I discovered the business' world is where I was going to indulge myself. I went from a ambitious and direction-less entrepreneur to a confident, ambitious, and situated entrepreneur, but also a legit member of the business community. My business has grown substantially to a staff of 6 and expansion planned to 15+ over the next 12 months. We are located in Central Canada with clients as far as New Mexico. We have grown from offering small websites at Vaiz Web Design to giving the option of advanced web development, intricate marketing strategies for any size of business, and IT Solutions on an enterprises level as Vaiz Enterprises

Ok so enough about me and my company. The point I want to make is that I DID take a lot from this community. I learned an excess of info and met some great people. As a long time YE member I have realized the opportunity we all have right here on the forums. The opportunity to do business' with each other. SO lets create a list of business' here or push for the admins to add a section dedicated to such a directory. I'm not refering to the classified section with the nonsense make money quick ads everywhere .

SO heres my company a link to our site and generalized version of what we offer, feel free to add your company and/or your opinions.

    Vaiz Enterprises
    -IT Solutions(anywhere in n. america)
    -Web Development
    -Marketing Strategies

As always keep it clean, respectful, and relevant!

I do not think we can give a proper definition to a business, because it is ever changing. It is very likely 30 years ago, if you would ask a person what do you consider to be a business they would respond, one that is brick and mortar. Now, many business owners work out of their homes and don't have an onsite presence. So considering what is a legitimate business, as long as it is registered, it is a business, in my opinion.

What about sole proprietors? May not be the most tax advantageous way to run a business, but lots of new businesses start out this way. Just a thought :-)
