    WYSIWYG...not really!

When I use front page where I place objects is not where they appear when the site is published...you don’t have to tell me front page is crap though, I have heard that enough times and can see that myself as well.

I also use dream weaver, i have the object placement problem with dream weaver as well but not nearly as bad. This biggest problem I have with dw is when I download a template, they are in a table like format and i have major difficulties arranging the texts and objects around to where i want them. (some times they just wont move at all???)

Is there any way to resize and move images around like you would an object in MS word? Keep in mind I am running off of a template, is there any way to convert the objects to this format?

I think the objects you are talking about in frontpage are usually just div layers with a position:absolute so they can be placed on the page using coords, which is not really standard, seeing as if you resize the page, the elements also move.

You should be able to cut and paste your images to move them about in dreamweaver I think though, as long as you have some sort of element structure behind it, ie table based or div/css based, it should work.

I've never used dreamweaver though, so I don't really know much about it's features. ^^

It's probably taking you more time to figure out dreamweaver than it'd take to teach yourself xhtml and find some inspiration.

I know how you do that in frontpage, i have never tried it in dreamweaver so i don't know. Maybe you should try looking on the net for dreamweaver tutorials because, these can be really useful.
