WTF Ugg Boots
Well we all know them, the classic ugg boots that have always been in my collection due to necessity and not a fashion statement. Waking up early hours of the morning to go swimming training, having them as the only thing to keep you warm for an early surf in the middle of winter with no heater and the window stuck half up/down, running to the sauna through the snow with nothin but ya uggies on, etc... yes! The classic ugg boot and I go way back...
But it has come to my attention that every man and his dog has a pair of ugg boots and are just as proud to showcase them as the next joe blow. Then I started looking at these bloody things on their feet with an unknown sense of disgust for the ugg boot! Now with our past it seems like a weird thing to say but I have noticed them to all be exactly the same (black, grey, brown) and then the occasional (horid pink, horid blue, and dead dog white).
So since you got this far you're probably wondering what is this lunatic on about once again with no point and some f***ed up observations that make no real sense and really couldn't worry me more than a dead hooker (and my prayers do go out to all the dead hookers as i wish no harm on you or any of your alive hooker friends)... so what will we see next with the ugg boot trend?

In the U.S. its a sense of style. Guys prefer sneakers, Timberland boots, etc. Its not that it'll make you gay ('nor an outcast if a guy wears them) --- but you don't hardly see guys wearing Ugg's... they are more in fashion for girls then guys is basically what Paint and Air is saying.
I watched a episode of Mad Money on CNBC (the one with Jim Cramer, that guy is hilarious... I'd like to one day meet him as he seems like a laid back and cool person and knows his stocks) --- but he was wearing a pair of Ugg's when he was talking about their stock. I'll dig up the link and send it to you.

Yeah I know that chicks use them as a fashion statement, and if guys wear them it's because they're practical. I'm organising some that I haven't seen anywhere in shops and the best thing because they scream AUSSIE PRIDE (so that the locals can get right into them), whilst having a touristy novelty feel to them.
At the moment it's just the fact they originated here, but I've been having some interesting chats with the manufacturer in regards to what can be done with them. The best thing is no-one is doing it and it will blow everyone out of the water as they are suitable for my website, tourist shops, and other large retail chains because it's one design that we are releasing with the ozzie theme that is quiet affordable for everyone.
Send me the link dude... appreciate it.

man, in the UK, UGGs are very expensive.. like £120!!
They are a statement over here, and very trendy must have..
There is a great book called 'The Tipping Point' which discusses this very thing about how a product goes from being a small nice product to becoming one of the must haves of the year.. recommended reading.

I have the guys UGGs short slipper ones not boots. They are great for walking to classes when it is 0 degrees and a -15 windchill. I don't wear them for fashion but because they a so warm and comfortable, also they were a present from my girlfriend.
