Writing a book?

At first I was planning on creating a new supplement, but then I realized that it wouldn't make much profit since all the supplement companies are copying each other. My plan now is to write a book about a certain subject. How can I check if this book will sell and how can I check the patent?

You book will sell based on the attitude have have as you begin to write it. If you think its going to a national bestseller, then it will. If you think It won't then it won't.

What matters is not what you do, but what you think why your doing what you do.

The best way to find out if the book will sell is to write it and shop it to some publishers. If that doesn't work, self-publish and promote the heck out of it.

If that doesn't work - it probably won't sell.

But then I've already invested money in it (ghostwriting, illustrations etc).
