Would you say it's Sexy?

Hey guys...could you help me out for a quick sec? You probably remember Young Wealth Weekly, the premium e-zine for young entreprenuers that Josiah Mackenzie and I launched last April. We just finished TOTALLY re-designing our website.

Sexy? I don't know about sexy.

My thing is I don't really know what your site is after browsing (and clicking some links). What are you trying to accomplish and what are those who visit your site there to accomplish? You may want to work on that "statement" - doing less of touting how elite your group is and more how much you have to offer those who join. Either that or provide information on what makes your group elite.

People like elite stuff as long as their something supporting the "elite" belief.

its a nice simple layout which is good, but i could use less quotes touting the site, especially from people i've never heard of. maybe just have one quote from the most famous of the lot on the main page, and make a separate page for the rest of them, or maybe one quote at the bottom of every page.

otherwise, i don't see much wrong with it, albeit i do agree with the above poster. using blatant adjectives to introduce your site to visitors on the main page is always a big no-no. leave the user to form their own opinions.

on first glance it looks like a marketing site ( you know, those asking you to pay $19.99 for an ebook that's worth $129.99)

but then again, it's clean and nice, though it still lacks a logo ( i can help you design it for free if you want )

and all the photos in the first page are those of men. Where're the women? You're not going to get many female visitors without considering that.....

overall nice site, just needs bits and pieces of touchups

Honestly, I also don't find it sexy. But it is clearly and cleanly professional, and since it is a site for businesspeople then it's okay. Nice choice of color and great layout... although people with bad eyesight like me would appreciate it if the font color isn't too light.

And I also agree with MfG... the site really does give the impression that it's for males only.
