I want to start a business in wilderness survival. My plan is to market to 8-12 yr. old boys. I have training in survival skills and would like to teach topics such as shelter making, fire making, trapping, edible plants, water purification, etc... I don't have land so I'm not sure if I could go to the local state park, or if that is against the rules. I'm not sure if there are laws stating how many adults to kids ratio there is, or if there is any kind of insurance I would need, or if I could just have them sign a waiver. I was thinking of starting with a saturday course for about 6hrs.(10:00am-4:00 pm) and maybe charge $50 per child. I'm not sure on the hours or what to charge, or even if this is a practical business idea. I do love the fact that this is definately a niche idea, so I'm not worried about to much competition in the area. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thank You,

Ben
