The title of this thread is from Napoleon Hill's famous book, THINK AND GROW RICH.
Many people want to become entrepreneurs but always seem to find some excuse for why they don't get started, such as, "I don't have the money," or, "I'll do it when the timing is better," or, "I tried before, and it didn't work out."
Any two-year-old is an expert at making excuses. People are waiting around for the "perfect" opportunity to fall from the sky, and they don't recognize the pure gold that's sitting right in front of their noses, every single day.
We've been so conditioned to be afraid of failing, or to look foolish in front of our friends, that we'll put our dreams on hold forever and never take those initial tentative steps.
The reality is that every entrepreneur has failed. Entrepreneurs fail every day. Some can't stomach the short-term setbacks and quit. But successful entrepreneurs don't see failure as such a big deal. Every successful entrepreneur has lost money they couldn't afford to lose, or endured criticism
from their (mostly employee - and broke) friends. Every entrepreneur goes through self-doubt and self-confidence growing pains!
Since an entrepreneur is creating something out of nothing, of course mistakes will be made along the way. And network marketing provides the perfect framework for people to make mistakes and learn in the process.
According to success guru Robert Kiyosaki, aka 'Rich Dad,' "The network marketing and direct sales industry is recognized by many to be the fastest-growing business model in the world today." If you're going to start a business, it just makes sense to build it in a fast-growth industry.
Kiyosaki continues: "People who want to be entrepreneurs should consider joining one of these businesses before they quit their jobs. Why? Many of these companies provide essential sales, business-building, and leadership skills not found anywhere else. One of the most valuable benefits from associating with a reputable organization is that it teaches the mind-set as well as the courage required to be an entrepreneur."
