Why do you bookmark?
What do you see at a site that causes you to bookmark it?
It could be for social reasons or business reasons. I'm just curious.

When I bookmark a page, it's usually because it's something useful that I'll come back to, but it's not very high in search rankings, or I stumbled upon it and don't think I could possibly find it again. I'd prefer to keep my bookmarks sparse and google things multiple times. Basically, I have the things I use every day in my toolbar, and a few things I found once and would never have found again in my bookmarks folder (random webcomics, piano sheet music, blogs)

I agree with Meaghan. For example, just now I found a cool site that explains, line by line, some tax forms I need for one of the members of my LLC. I found it after 5 or 6 different searches and through other sites, etc. I figured "I don't think I can find this again" and it got the Star.
If I go to a site often, like YE, I don't need to favorite it.
Good Post

When you guys say bookmark- do you mean using the bookmark folder on your browser (does anyone still do that besides me?) or do you mean using something like del.icio.us to bookmark your sites?

I don't use del.icio.us, etc. and maybe I'm old fashioned (and don't have a toolbar) but it is *way* too much effort for me to go into another website to find my bookmarks. No... I want it in my dropdown bookmarks or toolbar or not at all.
