I work on twitter sometimes for my company and it's a great promotional tool but what's the deal why do people like it so much?

Because its constantly working thought process from people all over the world. the ability to contact anyone at anytime anywhere

If you strategize it correctly for business, utilizing the many different subsites and tools provides, you can target in on specific users and resources that could lead to further visibility for your company, brand, service/product, or self knowledge.

For those who use it to tell the world they just tied their shoes, well, that's a waste.
