I live in Michigan and just returned for a trip to Arizona. I learned that Kroger's in Michigan is Fry's in Arizona and called something else in California. I've also wondered why some gas/oil companies use dirrerent names in different parts of the country. Is it because they have played "business Packman" or is there a tax reason for doing this. It must be significant cuz losing national name recognition as a tradeoff must give them some significant advantage. Thanks
