What was your thread about? Ever thought it may of been because you violated terms or something? Just an estimated guess.

There were two reasons I deleted it:

    1. It seemed like spam

    2. It was posted in the wrong section (it was Internet-related)

If you can adequately dispute both of those points, perhaps we can add it back. I'm not trying to be a jerk, just trying to keep a bit of order.

OK so even after 300+ post you think I would be spamming this forum, dude come on.

    1. Explain why it looked like spam? I was not trying to sign anyone up for anything, cell cheap electronics, etc.

    2. This is a business, that would be setting up people's website, so it is internet business.

Let me know if you got more questions, like I said before, it is not hard to email someone who's been here for sometime now and let them know, that someone thinks that theres a problem with a post.

^^ Well, I would comment but like I said, I have no idea what exactly the post was about. But honestly, call me an asshole but it doesn't matter how many posts you have... spam is spam (if it looked like it I mean or even if it was.)

To properly address this, I'll have to share your original message (but I'll leave out the other remarks you left when you re-posted it this morning):

    Let's hear what people think.
The subject of your post was So who wants a free website??.

While I doubt that you own Homestead, or are employed by them for marketing purposes, there seemed to be no real reason for the post, other than to lead people to the Homestead service. While this is certainly Ok, the post was admittedly bizarre, and seemingly pointless. Were you asking what folks thought about Homestead? Were you asking what they thought about using free Homestead and free email to start an Internet business? Were you asking if anyone had experience with Homestead? Again, it was hard to tell.

The second problem is that the post was Internet-related, and posted in a General Business section. As for you being someone who has "been here for sometime now", I would certainly hope that you are aware of our rule that Internet-related posts belong in the General Internet forum section? In fact, this rule was set by 4-Knots, who was a moderator before I even was. This rule has been in effect for quite some time, and I was rather certain that all members (especially "long-timers") were aware of it, considering how much of an asshole I have been in moving posts.

If you have any further problem with this, let me know. I hope I have made the decision (as well as the problem) clear. If you think I'm a total asshole and you're still mad, contact Bestmiler, as he is my boss here. I imagine he would tell you the same thing about Internet-related posts, however.

Lastly, I could point you to section 7 at this link: http://www.youngentrepreneur.com/ind...ode_of_conduct . However, I'm not that mean.

Ok so to start things off here's a quote by BestMiller from the PM that he sent me: "Well I wasn't the one who deleted it but I was rather shocked because I didn't find anything offensive."
Which tells me that your boss didn't think of this as spam, but in the PM prior to that he did mention that it was in the wrong section.
Now that we have this cleared up.

Homestead - lets you set up websites, and no i do not work for them in anyway. But I can have my own business (this is the category for the thread) which would set up free websites through Homestead. Follow me yet? So it would be a "general business" thread. Are we on the same page?

Maybe I should have been clearer for those who didn't understand the point of the thread or I could have waited for people's responses to the thread. Because as you know too much information could be a bad thing.

For your second point please read above.

    OK so lets review this.

    1. The thread should have been clearer on my side, my fault.
    2. Thread removal, you're being a little too trigger happy there.
    3. Not in the right section, PM to get a clarification on what the thread is about.
    4. Maybe I'm not grasping idea of a "general business" classification, but if someone is offering a free website to a business or whoever, that is a sort of a business transaction, right?
    5. Have a little courtesy in the future to contact an established poster if you think there is a problem, not asking for that much.

Let me know if I missed something, k?
    Thanks

Bro same could go for you, any time you mention your cash flow business, that could be considered SPAM too, it all depends on which side of the fence you are, get my drift?
But yes I guess next time I will fill my thread with as much info as possible.

In my opinion, I'm not going to rule in either favor just for the sake of keeping peace. But I will say, it was in the wrong forum, it should of been in General Internet.

Why is this? Well, when we think in simpler terms, General Business rings the bells along the line of "business management, startup, how to run a business, etc." Now, promoting homestead in the General Business forum is not quite a classification of General Business, as Homestead is a web host, hence it has no way of helping conduct business relations or start up any business (what I mean is that Homestead offer's website hosting, not business managing materials or assistance, etc."

So I will say, wrong section, now on the topic of anything offensive being used... didn't really quite see anything, but the fact is that it was posted up in the wrong method... I would've understood myself if it was sharing your experience or if you were asking for members past experience or something, but you posted up what seemed like a "advertisement" to me. Maybe its just me.

So like I said, I'm not ruling either side.

Correction, show me one post where I actually bragged about my cash flow business and started a topic on it to gain people to visit my site. Yes, I may of slightly said something about my cash flow business, but not once did I post a link or give an "essence" of me trying to gain members or people to utilize my services.

Huh? The name is Bestmiler (with one l) and please don't get me involved with this.
We shouldn't have to contact established members. If everyone obeys by the forum rules then everything will take care of itself. If the rules are broken then stuff gets moved, deleted, closed , etc

    P.S. - I'm not his boss and I didn't side with you.
