These types of threads pop up every once in a while where it asks you to name certain people on the forum. I always find them interesting.

The thing about this is that its online. When your online, you can be anyone you want to be. I'm not saying that Akula isn't a great business mind, what I'm trying to say is that I don't know him in person. He could honestly have a bachelor in BS (bull shitting). We could be just eating his shit up. He maybe he is for real. So basically, you don't really know who you are dealing with on these forums and i think, in my opinion, you can't judge someone from these forums because you don't really personally know them.

Its just like someone who ask for capital investments on a forum. That is a joke. Its so unprofessional its not even funny. No offense or anything, I couldn't imagine investing thousands of dollars on my personal money into someone I don't know or haven't played a game of golf with. (read it out of a trump book, great way to know someone. If you would like to know more, PM me and I'll tell you the concept behind it)

P.S. Don't take anything that I said personally Akula, nothing against you I was just trying to make a point.

i agree...anyone can be anyone....i might be brad pitt hahahaha

but seriously....most of the successful people i know are the people who dont talk about anything, they dont say they know anything..they just either get lucky or go for broke....

look at most of the successfull people now, they either drop out of college or are braniacs in technology or economics

    Define successful:
Makes most money? or is most satisfied with the life they lead?

Also note that *most* people who make big bucks are typically highly educated.

"Consider the median wage of full-time workers who are at least 25 years old. At the end of last year, it was $986 a week for those with a bachelor’s degree or higher, versus $574 for those with only a high school education, according to the most recent calculation from the Bureau of Labor Statistics."

"Nearly 76 percent of those with a four-year college education in America hold jobs, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports, compared with only 60 percent of high school graduates. Those percentages are down only a hair this decade, but among the college-educated a noticeable number with bachelor’s degrees are showing up in jobs that seem to require only a high school education."

"In the job market, a college degree is worth almost double the value of a high school diploma, new Census Bureau figures show. In 2004, bachelor's degree-holders earned an average $51,206 a year, compared with $27,915 a year for those with a high school diploma only, according to the Census numbers."

"Without a high school degree, earnings dropped sharply, to an average $18,734. At the other end of the spectrum, advanced degrees brought an average salary of $74,602."

No offense or anything mbolton, if you want to be a highly paid professional that makes 6 figures then you definitely need to go to school and get you PHD or whatever. I don't know about you but if I wanted a safe secure job, I wouldn't be on this forum. I'm looking to make more than college graduates in the business world.

But don't get me wrong or anything. I do think that college is a great tool to increase you knowledge and make you more valuable to the job market but once again...that is the job and that's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking to higher those valuable attorney, CPA, etc.
