Who else is in retail/wholesale?

How did you guys do this past month? I own several interior design galleries (furniture, paintings, area rugs, etc) here in Orange County and business has been extremely slow since New Years. Down about 40% compared to Jan 07. Hopefully things start picking up mid February

Business everywhere is slow. Experts are calling this a recession...ALREADY...we haven't seen anything yet. I expect the marketplace, including retails sites like yours, to continue to decline the next few months, and then rocket back up by July or so. Stick with it...don't give up. I don't mean to bring bad news, and that is SOLELY my opinion (I've been wrong before!). Just rest assured that you are not the only one out there, others are in the same boat I believe.

For me Jan 08 was much better than Dec 07.

Dont know why I'm noticing all these OC people...Anyway Smar keep up the marketing it's going to take a lot more than a recession for people around here to stop spending money!

Spending in excess of 50k in advertising by March..

I have a very broad community on my website so luckily for me, business has been thriving for the last 5 years! Looks like you people are going wrong somewhere!
