Arrow Who are you? And what do you do?

Hello dear YE members! I finished watching a movie called the Kindergarten Cop, With Arnold Schwarzenegger. The part that was stuck in my head is when he asked the kids. "Who is your daddy, and what does he do? " Now i'm here to ask you the same thing. But this time... Who are you, and what do YOU do?

Another reason I was inspired to create this post is because there is some YE members that seem to know way to much about business. Lets say, Akula... He is a very respected member of YE, he gives priceless advice that you can't even get from some University professors. Therefore Im wondering, who is HE! And what the heck does he do to make a living as an entrepreneur. I do not just want to know about him. But I want know about YOU.

I on the other hand come from Europe. Im 19 years I live in the USA, aka the land of opportunity. Here I work at grocery store and dream of opening a business that will make me filthy rich someday. I don't own any Businesses yet, but im on the verge of opening a Bar/Club in Colombia ( south America ) I also try to make money online too. I have web site called Wristroom.com Which provides people with free quality downloads. It slowly getting more and more traffic every day. What else... oh yea! I dropped out of college, and make about $250 a week working at a grocery store... Thats about it from me. Im not very interesting as you can see.

Short version of Greg Kalafatic

Hey Denis. Glad to see you started this thread. Never say you aren't interesting or look down upon what you are making at the grocery store. That just adds value to your story when you become successful because then most people can relate to you. Keep taking action on your website business and one day you will be able to move on to bigger and better things.

As for me, my name is Greg Kalafatic. Born and raised in Garden City, New York. My whole life, I've been extremely competitive in sports and always working on projects to make money. My entrepreneurial drive ended when my mom got sick back in the summer of 2005 and passed in summer of 2006. Since then, I have been working on myself internally to get that burning desire back. I am currently an independent personal trainer and have been working on my marketing and distribution company for a functional health beverage. Just enjoying life since I got control back over my life.
I beleive Les Brown said "take control of your life now, because if you don;t somebody else will"

Wish you well in your ventures.

If you always do what you always did, you always get what you always got.

That's a quote I try to live by every single day, and it sums me up in a nutshell.

I'm 20 and have lived in Northern England all my life. I was 14 when I started my first business and since then I've been lucky enough to meet the right people and be in good places at the good times.

I love to travel, and have been known to travel great distances to meet online friends in person. Soon I intend to travel around Australia for 12 months and hopefully learn many new trades and skills along the way.

I love to take a calculated risk and spend my time outdoors. I'm currently part of a kayaking course and I've also been a member of the UK Scouts for 14 years, which I always say has taught me much more than any school or college ever did.

I like to try to live life to the full, and I don't just say that in a half-hearted way. I truly do. Every action I take I like to think gets me ultimately closer to my goals while making sure everything I do is an action that I actually want to do. Because we all know if you're doing something each day that you don't enjoy, then you really shouldn't be doing it! At least that's how I see it.

Hey Denis. I am 28 and living in Los Angeles, born and raised in Oregon. While growing up in Oregon I was a very active screenwriter and was flown down to LA on several occassions by production companies who were interested in my writing. When I completed my college education I packed my bags and relocated

I jumped right into the entertainment industry and soon was working on the #1 reality show in television. I worked in production for 5 years before I decided to venture out on my own and see what I could do.

I recently completed a book about my experiences and signed with a literary agency in NY, I also launched my consumer review website called ConsumerTreehouse.com, which provides the public with 100% unbiased and unsolicited consumer reviews which are all user-created and published, along the same lines a Wikipedia. My website is growing by the day and the income that it is producing is growing on a monthly basis.

I have another online business that is in the works and should be public within 6 months or so.

I also travel to Japan on a regular basis, I work a private buyer for a gentleman who owns several clothing stores there. I am also very active in Real Estate and have bought and sold several multi-family properties over the last couple of years. Timberland Investments are also something that I started purchasing about a year ago.

I have accomplished basically all the goals that I have set for myself since I moved from Oregon to Los Angeles.

One thing that was instilled in my at a young age was "Always explore every opportunity that comes your way, if you don't you will never know if it could of worked for you" This is something that I think about on a daily basis.

I have made mistakes, we all do that's part of life, and I have learned something from each one.

Good Luck with whatever you decide to do.
