Which of two do you think is more profitable and would get used the most

Why not both? Focus on one main one, and offer the other as an add-on service.

If you are targeting residential, obviously you should focus on garage cleaning over window cleaning, however you can market your window cleaning services to commercial areas as well.

I hate washing windows. I do not know if I would want someone going through my garage.

and he gave a perfect answer.
He hates washing windows, which means he is probably prepared to pay for someone to do it. And that he doesn't really want someone going through his belongings in the garage.
Therefore his vote is window washing.

Garbage cleaning as in roll offs, and garbage pick up with big trucks or junk removal with a smaller truck?

Maybe you could use one as the loss leader?

Or offer a garage cleaning at half price with the window cleaning? Or vice versa.

I know we hire window cleaners but I doubt my husband would let anyone touch HIS garage. Yes; I park my car there too but it is HIS garage.

Now I have seen garage makeover companies starting up. Paint, put in shelves, organize, clean etc.

I have heard of established window cleaning companys, but I've not heard of garage cleaning before. Also I aggree with jsauils, I wouldn't like someone going through our garage. I have just google'd garage cleaning services, and there are no cleaning companys that solely focus on cleaning garage's, there are cleaning company's that clean houses, and include in their services garage cleaning.
