the only problem is that some people say that godaddy a little bit higher then average downtime. but it looks like go daddy could be the one.

here are somethings that go daddy offers
    deluxe registrations

    they offer shopping cart software

I use Media Temple. Their base package is $20 per month. For that, they give you a ton of power to run several CMS-based sites. I'm also running SugarCRM from that account so that I can access my customer records from anywhere. But if you're saying you've never known what MySQL is for, Media Temple might be a bit overkill for you.

I use Startlogic for the hosting and web.com for the domain names. Startlogic Pro Package gives you enough and it is $83.95 for the year, and if you sign up for more than one year at a time you receive discounts. They have good service and customer service. Never had a problem.

    Best,

    G

I use Dreamhost. For blogging, it's my host of choice.

For other purposes, I could see going with GoDaddy, but I think the customer service at Dreamhost is more personal. You feel more valued.
