if you put all the logos on one little simple html page it'll make it a lot simpler for us to compare them...

they all look nice, but I am not really understanding what the business stands for, or does from any of the designs.

Logo 3 is the best of the bunch, but still needs some work. Give us some background on the biz to see if the logo fits. The typography looks dated in a y2k way and needs some work. Throw some bigger versions up and your original sketches and we can help you a bit more from there.

Actually, those logos were picked from a logo website, which provides logos for $99.99...

The future business name isn't really meant to describe anything - I am attempting to create a "brand", rather than "uncle ed's whatever shop". Anyway, then general idea of the business is to produce customized computer systems - Not gaming computers or desktops in specific, but touch screen or other specialty computers for things like;

1) cars
2) RV's
3) Hot tubs
4) Stereo control units
5) etc..

Most of these computers aren't really the norm - i.e. the hot tub "computer" would just be a built in box with a touch screen LCD that allows you to create play lists of songs, integrate the stereo, etc.. Obviously this would be water proof.

As for the car computer - Microsoft is really trying to push manufacturers in this direction, but no one seems to be moving very quickly (I don't consider a standard "nav" to be any step forward). The idea of this is to control pretty much everything from a voice activated system or touch screen LCD. This includes being able to download songs on the go (from Napster) via a GPRS service, storing your latest playlists, making a cellular phone call, navigating through GPS (which also has the capability to warn you of traffic jams, and automatically re-routes you), storing engine diagnostics, etc., all activated by voice.

I currently have a few family/friend investors, and am currently conducting a basic business outline which will include a few surveys, pros vs. cons, price assesments, etc., and then I will conclude things with a pretty solid business plan (or so I hope)...

You've got another thing coming. Do not buy manufactured logos. There's no concept whatsoever. The world doesn't need another swirly bullshit logo. If I had of known that's where there from I would have virtually bitchslapped you, if I could.

But seriously, have a professional design a logo for you that actually has something to do with your business. Work the minimal cost of having a great conceptual logo designed into the money your scrounging for products and you won't regret it.

I revoke my vote for #3 and urge you to read as much material as you can about branding, because you'll be sorry in the future with an attitude like you currently have towards brands. Spend everything you've got right now at amazon before you move any further with the business.

LOL... You have bitch slapped me out of it!

Not only that, but they retain all of the rights to that logo, AND it says they have the right to any ideas or whatever, which is also bulltrash...

I still have to complete a business outline and plan, and then I will seriously think about logo design. I really don't want anything with alot of colors in it - I want something that would be easy to integrate onto a product case (i.e. a computer case, LCD touch screen, etc.).

I still have to talk to that Microsoft Rep tomorrow and ask a few questions about the Microsoft Windows Automotive operating system. I will likely need to outsource the programming work to some programmers to setup a decent interface...

Microsoft has been trying to push this for the past few years, but no one has been biting. Microsoft predicts that car computers will be the next "desktop" market - I somewhat disagree, but I do agree that computers will be pretty well integrated into cars, and I am willing to bet that the car manufacturers won't be the ones manufacturing the computer systems...
