Cool Where can I get this site built

I am looking to build a site that offers surveys to a specific market. It is not a make $5000 a week by taking surveys at home site. The focus is not to exploit customers. Anywyas, is there anyone familiar with building a survey site, or know where I can get one built. Any thoughts appreciated. PM me if interested in building and we can discuss.

there's plenty of survey scripts at sourceforge

    don't build from scratch

been there, done that - it's not pretty

remember young jedi - sell, then build

don't build web appz unless you have customers waiting

the way to fail is to first build your web app and then try to get some poor souls to start using it

    sell first, build second

    NOT

    build first, sell second

no, no - don't worry about the business plan

customers don't care about your business plan

they care about you solving their problem

call the guys who are gonna be paying you, and get them to sign a letter of intent (LOI), stating that if you build the product before date "y", they'll use the product and pay you $"x"

this will be hard because in your case, the people filling out the surveys are diffrent to people paying you for the data, and you've gotta get commitments from both

do you want me to tell you how my survey startup has solved this problem?

If you need custom work you can always check places like http://www.scriptlance.com/, http://www.sitepoint.com/ and http://www.elance.com/. Just do a search on freelancer.

I can help you build a simple survey site. I'm a software engineer. A prototype site can be up in a few days.
There's plenty of other people out there to do it as well. Building the site is easy. I'd be more interested in how/what you plan on doing with the data.

I agree, I post most of my jobs on Elance, even if I have someone else in mind, just to see what I should be paying.
