    When reading a business newspaper what are the primary sections you look at?

    interested in seeing which sections you guys primarily read...

    Honestly I think the more you read the better. If you are in business you want to keep your finger on the pulse of things. Things that might seem totaly unrelated actually might be more pertinent than something that may seem directly related to what you are doing. Steve

    I almost never read a newspaper but when I do, I read the business section in the newspaper, not necessarily a business newspaper. I focus heavily on the technology section (but that's because that's a personal interest of mine) and ignore all the stocks update (there are better places to go to deal with stocks). That said, I look at a newspaper maybe once a year if that.

    The classified and the small in-column ads in the back. They give a quick idea of what is going on.

    Sometimes even if it's saddening to look at the economic status worldwide today, it's still a need to look at how the web market for example and the dollar rates have been in the past few days to weigh if such a business could be effective in earning. That's also the reason why I've learned that it's good to use the Internet as a medium in business nowadays.
