i quit my job with no cashflow but what it did is give me the time needed to work on it
i think it all depends on the person
some people cannot deal with the risk
but quitting in the beginning will make growth happen much quicker

When you get completely focused on your passion and you're willing to put everything you have on the line to pursue your vision. It's not about the money. Completely. I quit a great corporate marketing job in 1990 to go out on my own, no salary, not much in savings, and just a burning desire to do something on my own. It wasn't easy. But it all worked out. And I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

I agree with “When Your business is paying you more than what you make at your day job.

Re:When Is It Time to Go Full-Time?
Every Entrepreneur put all efforts at the business time and its not possible in part-time or half night work. When the time schedule is complete than your business is go very well.

well the way i see it is that whether you are a part of an MLM home business opportunity or you run a bricks and mortar business... there is no exact science that will tell you when to go full time... you must be prepared to work hard, dedicate your time and effort, and focus on the bigger picture without getting bogged down in the daily tasks at hand

This is the truest statment i have ever heard on this forum to date.
By quitting your job, in advance you force yourself to be that person you always wanted to become because you have no choice, which means failure is not an option, and this is when a champion is born!
Great statement Bro!

When you have enough savings to let you live for a year at 80% of what you spend now, and when your business is earning as much as you earn at your current job.
Example: If you spend $2k a month including rent, food, electricity, internet etc. You should have at least $19200 savings before you start your own business. Also if your salary is $3k per month, your business should be earning you in net profits of $3k per month.
That way, should your business go down the shitter, you have enough time with reduced spending to find a new job. If your business is succesful, you'll manage to keep your savings, and build upon it as the business grows.
Just my opinion, im a bit more risk averse than some ppl on here.
