If you are in the business of selling products/services to other small businesses what is the best way to go about this?

I've realized that facebook/twiter just may not be effective when trying to reach business, its only good when trying to reach the general public.

I feel that setting up affiliate program is good way to market service. Our company is going to set up one next year.
