    Hello,

I believe that when starting a business it is in your best interest to be involved in the writing process of your plan so your familier with your business in depths. Forget software! there are plenty of business plan templates on the internet that are free, try the microsoft website, I have used one from there its great.

    Goodluck cheers,

A great reference is US Small Business Administration for sample business plans. This is not software driven though. However, plans are broken down into a number of industry sectors. Check it out at www.sba.gov

I use a program called business plan pro. It runs about $100, and has samples within each section to give you the gist of what to write. There are also really good cash flow and other financial data calculators and graphing functions. I highly recommend it.
