What would be a good idea for this domain name?

    ConfigureIT.com

I've been meaning to do something with it for a while now but haven't had the chance to figure out what.

I figure it should be tech-related but any other suggestions?

    Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Ha! Nice one Akula

Seriously though, what skills have you got DjFuNK? If you can mend, build or know computers well you could start a computer repair business.

You could start by giving advice to users who post their PC specs and give advice on the best way to get the best performance from the, bios, video, virtual memory etc.

a couple of faq's regarding recommended setup for gaming, dtp, image processing and specs on what to buy when looking for new PC, laptop with affiliate links to software and hardware.

add some geeky RSS like latest virus threats and IT news, download links latest software releases, building websites, links to tutorials, buying the right domain name and what to use it for (lol),

get a forum in there so more users can contribute, all that kind of stuff.

    also
you could provide videos of how to set up everyday stuff like TV to PC - LCD to DVD to get the best sound out of it, you have no idea how many times I get asked to set up someones new, TV - DVD Recoder & Cable/Satellite stuff so they can actually hear the dolby they paid for.

you probably already thought of all this already so I dont know if this is any use,

    good luck!

I'm with Malog, especially the easy-set-up video tutorials. You could make it a very visual site as you'd be catering to non-technical people mostly (I would think).

I think these are all fantastic ideas. I initially thought about some kind of forum or FAQ site for that matter.

I'm a web developer by nature and have been doing side projects from time to time.

The video tutorials is an excellent idea. Anyone want to help out with the recordings?

    Thanks again all.

    LOL Peter

    I love the
"You can donate money" <hidden> to my beerfund <\hidden>

    Ps
Got a call today to set up a new TV for an old lady (not joking),

I've been fixing PC's for 13 years or so now and never had one I could not repair, started a document imaging department from scratch, worked as a CCTV engineer and have a PC Repair business starting up, after all that all I get asked to do is set up TV's and I do it for nothing.

Knew I should have been an electrician
What am I going to do with this?
