What works to get you leads/sales?

Out of all the marketing, advertising, or networking you do, what tends to generate the most qualified sales leads?

Definately networking groups. No question.

I've generated so much from networking I haven't had time to do actually marketing.

You are asking a question like the 'chicken and egg' scenario.

You really can't tell which one works at your industy. You have to play around with it. Based on my experience, it always suprised me because the least I expected is the one that leads to sale.

And don't confuse Sales & Marketing. It's totally different procedure. A lot of entrepreneurs are confused about sales and marketing. The basic difference is sales is what you communicate on one to one basis. Marketing is what you communicate to the mass and it is done through a system. Appointment is an example of sales. Search engine optimization is a sample of marketing.
