What will you do differently in 2010?

As one of my favorite quotes goes - "You keep on doing what you've been doing, you're gunna keep on getting what you've been getting"

So, what are you going to do differently in 2010 to improve on what you did in 2009? Think back to everything you learned this year, successes, failures, etc. Plan to shake things up, make a change in your routine, processes, marketing campaigns, etc.

    Think outside your vacuum.
How do you become successful? Help others reach their dreams and goals.

I've been focusing in online business for nearly all of my life. I'm considering opening up a physical business this year.

Focus on one thing, write it down, and go for it. Although the new year doesn't have to be the time to do something, it is a great form of motivation. Go get it!

    Be successful.

09 was our first year, and sales didn't start until November. We did good with our physical location, tried to create a local market for our products and had happy customers return and recomened others.

In 2010, we will launch our online store to reach a national market and continue our physical location which will only grow every year as people begin to realize that they can get awesome Pomegranates from us November to, well, whenever they're gone.

We're also branching in the direction of Pomegranate products, so in 2010 we will have a FDA approved mobile kitchen in which we can prepare products (Jams, Jellies, etc. We also have a large bee collection and have amazing honey that we could never legally sell until we have a kitchen).

Last year was more of a "feeler" year for me, I was new to the Orchard and I didn't start the business until late Spring. Next year I know when we need to to prepare for certain crops to make sure we harvest them in time, and I have developed the connections to be able to sell them in Whole Foods, aswell as in our fruit stand outside of the property.

Also, we're expanding our Pomegranate fieilds by planting an additional 1,000+ trees come Spring time. While we will not directly benefit from these trees until 3-4 years, the goal is to have a developed business and market by then providing us with enough customers to really benefit from these new trees. Each tree produces around 400 fruit, we'll have over 400,000 fruit to sell. The going price for your average, organically grown Pomegranate is $3. Multiply that by 400,000 and a pretty penny can be made.

2010 looks good, real good. But I am more interested in the new decade than the new year.

2009 was the year that i setup my Filehosting site http://www.filethe.net the initial startup costs exceeded our initial estimate by abour 30% this was mainly due to unreliable hosting company which looked good on paper but went out of business but we had total backup and the site was up and running agin in short time but mainly its been fine tweaking of the site and servers. So we will learn to go for more reliable hosts which we have finally found.

2010 will be the year to start serious marketing of the site and my aim is to double revenue from what it was in last 3 months of 2009.We are currently sitting No 12 for the keyword filehost in google and No 25 for the keyword Filehosting which we are pleased about but we wont be happy till we are in the top 10 for those and other related keywords but we will achieve it.

@ikjosh carry on building high quality backlink within the niche and some more methods which i am working on,its all ongoing work and i guess the more work you put in the higher exposure you get to the site or should i say that is the theory. It could be done using 'adwords' but at a premium price but if i do it myself all it costs me is the time.I guess it all depends how quick you want to get within the top page or 2 in Google.

I'm not a big fan of Adwords.. I think if you put a long term, strategic plan to get into the top 10 naturally, your ROI is much better, and you save money.

    Good luck to you!
