What to import to the USA from China?

I have found all the sources I need in finding the right people to ship my products from China to the US, but i am unsure of what products China really has that would be a good seller in US. Everything is done in my international business with the importing and exporting goods, but now my job is to find what exact product to use. If anyone can think of a good product or interested in becoming partners and creating a business plan together please contact me. This is a very good opportunity and has high potential. Like I said I already am dealing with the importing and exporting and who to go through part of the business now all I need is a product or product line that would be a good seller. International business is tough because I can not use USA name brand products and expect to sell in US because the price is way to high. I am looking for LIKE products and product accessories. Some things that may help are, I am very interested in electronics and sports or if you have a better idea please help me out. Thank you

There are many good products...you just have to decide which is good for you..

There are no magic bullets of a perfect product, you need to figure out the other factors including how to sell it,ship it and store it to see how that fits the rest of your business plan.

Hi how are you doing? Importing/Export business has really great potential to make lots of money if you know what you are doing. Its a challenge but if you find the right product and come with a good marketing plan to target the right audience i think you can do very well I am a college student majoring in Marketing and business management in USA. I also own a business which involves importing and exporting products different countries especially USA. I lost money and made mistakes but i am glad it happened because i would have lost way more. We all fail but entrepreneurs learn from failures and never give up no matter what happens. Now i have build relationship with suppliers/agents/friends in China, Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan.

Anybody interested in this field please feel free to msg me i would be glad to help you out any way i can.

    Thanks and gluck!

    Cool China supplier

    Hi,

As a new member of the group, I’d just like to share some resources that may be useful to you. If you want someone dependable, try looking for them on sourcing portals like GlobalSources dot com.

They have a 'supplier verification' system to weed out the serious exporters from the problematic ones. If you choose one of their 'verified suppliers', you'll get someone who has undergone thorough checks and inspections.

If you’re interested in China Sourcing tips, try SmartChinaSourcing dot com.

Or go to a site like ChinaSourcingFairs dot com , register for a supplier trade fair, and meet prospective suppliers face-to-face.

    Hope this helps!

The bad things happen to people that do not do their homework...make sure you deal with people you feel comfortable with and never take "no problem" as a good answer for anything...

One of the best ways to find great people is to visit china in person...the Canton Fair is a great place to start...

jacrisp, how are you planning on selling the items in the USA (ebay, internet site, or brick and click). also because my understanding is that you are importing NO NAME products, i would suggest fabrics type products, since electronics are less trusted amongst established brands in the states. I was thinking about products like hand bags, shoes, hats, sunglasses, also try luggage handbags. I think that type of business is catching on as business travellers would like hand bags they can fly and travel with easily as carry-ons.

msg me as i am looking for something similar to do in Canada. thanks
