What should someone know BEFORE working with distributers?

I was planning on contacting some XBOX distributors and buying some products from them, but is there a place that describes the general process of doing this?

For instance, what would be the general minimum order for things? What should you know/have being going into this?

Becoming a distributor to any product is a big thing. Make sure you not only meet the manufactures requirements; but also consider your local and federal requirements when becoming a distributor.
