What kind of smart phone do you use for business?

I have to answer question after question after email after question all day long and I have to do it as quickly as I can in order to meet my customers satisfaction. If I didn't have my google eris droid I wouldn't be able to do what I'm doing right now as easily as I am.

I used to use the blackberry storm and before that I used the sprint mogul.

Never was a fan of the iphone until more recently seeing as how apple stepped up on making applications that have a purpose in solving a problem in a unique way.

    Hi CK,

My vote is for the Blackberry. Don't know what I'd do without it. I wasn't a huge fan until I found the BB App store, which has tons of productivity tools that make the phone more intuitive - especially the calendaring/scheduling functions.

The iPhone is definitely #1 in the cool factor category, and I agree they've made some leaps toward being more useful for business. Still sticking with my Blackberry for now though.

Great question. Looking forward to more from you.

use both windows mobile (i know, i know) and an android powered phone. the one nice thing about windows mobile is the speed and ease of writing apps for your specific purpose/need and being able to load it on the phone quickly.
I have the android phone cause well, unlike windows mobile you can actually live with it on a daily basis.

Right now i still have my pink BBpearl.
It's pretty basic: phone, email, scheduling, addressbook..
Don't really know how to get apps for it.. haha

My husband has a business of his own and an iphone. I LOVE his phone, and can't wait till my contract runs out, so i can get one too. So many apps and easier to work with

bb could be the best choice, but China do not support bb much and therefore I moved to Nokia.

bb storm, however if it were available on a network here i would give the nexus a shot since android seems solid. iphone is crap like the rest of apple, and now that apps are being created cross platform(apple/bb) you will see most or all and more apps on the bb.

I use the Blackberry Tour, and I can't imagine running my business without it. Iphone is a decent phone, but its a multimedia device more so than a business device. The email notifications, push button email, its all amazing. BB forever!!

The iPhone is simply great, it does have it's limitations though, whilst the calendar is good it could certainly be better. Its not very good for organising a schedule.
Having 32gb of storage for music and video is certainly it's strong point, I like listening to music to concentrate.

Well I'll rank the Tour 1-10 for these and then say which phone I think is the best in each category.

    Tour Ranking:

    Web browsing: 6
    Ease of Typing: 9
    Ease of Managing Emails: 10
    Selection of Apps : 7
    Use for Business: 9
    Use for personal: 8

    Best in Each

    Web Browsing: iPhone
Ease of Typing : Blackberry Tour, Bold, Bold 2, 8830
    Email: Any Blackberry
Selection of Apps: iPhone, then Android powered phones, then blackberry
    Use for Business: any blackberry
Use for personal: varies by person

Hope this helps. I'm not an expert in this field.
    -Andrew
