I prefer "Who Moved My Cheese" by Dr Spencer Johnson. It tells how to adapt yourself to the changing environment in business with small story which is more impressive. I like it and read lots of time.
Please understand that I've read hundreds of business books and most of the books that folks have listed here. I'm a huge fan of the majority of the authors mentioned. BUT...
The single most valuable book I've read for business has been the Bible.
The business lessons in there are priceless! Not to mention - most of the great business authors all cite this book as a source of their motivation and inspiration.

Something like that.
It has way too many details, in fact I felt like reading Jules Verne at times (except for SCI-Fi part), but not much on the part of the business itself, pure story telling.
Don't get me wrong I really like Richard Branson, but "Losing my virginity" is a book for hardcore fans interested in his personal life.
A good one that a lot of people recommend that own a web business is "Getting Things Done" by David Allen.
It's a really good methodology into how to make sure you're constantly at your most productive.

This book is not so much about doing business, but how to be effective. Which is one of those things you just can't do without as an entrepreneur.

Currently, I am reading Good to Great by Jim Collins. It is truly an amazing book. It goes beyond business advice to bring a new kind of genre: business science.
The E Myth revisited, great ideas, useful insights, i recommend it to my own clients and seminar participants, i am a huge believer in systems based business

I have taught with Robert Kiyosaki and am one of the original teachers to share his content in Maricopa Community Colleges. (Phoenix, AZ region) I give him a ton of credit for helping people change their context. But there's not much there when it comes to the how to's. The Breakthrough Company by Keith R. McFarland is for small businesses what Jim Collins is to larger enterprises. Napoleon Hill and the many other classics are also great for motivation and contextual shifts. The Breakthrough Company is about what makes small businesses successful based on hard core research of 7,000 companies. A must read!
