what is the importance of Business plan?

pleas tell me what is the importance of business plan and why i make a business plan before starting the business.and which is important things in business plan.

You need a business plan to plan out your business and you are prepared. And if you are looking for investors, if you don't have a biz plan then they won't bother to waist their time with you.

Business is complex.
Without writing things down, that leaves you to rely on your head and to never forget.

I don't know about you, but I'm a very forgetful person. If I don't write it down, I may forget to do it a week or two later!

Without a business plan, you'll probably be missing things, new ideas, perspectives, and miss problems.

Without a plan, how can you get others interested? YOU may understand or think it's a good idea- but unless only YOU are going to use your business, fund your business, and be your own customer, then YOU don't matter.


I don't mean to sound harsh, but don't you think "Is a plan important" kind of a dumb question?
I suggest putting together a plan. There's no reason to other than laziness or extreme disinterest in planning things out....which are both bad characteristics for someone to have when starting a business.
