I would guess just submitting to diffrent search engines/placing adverts on high traffic websites/networking with other websites. Maybe make a youtube video about the product? myspace page? Sell on ebay, but offer a lower price direct from your website?
Im just listing here what I have heard, not so sure on how successful it would be...but every little counts i guess lol.
