Question What is the best Sales/Marketing Automation Software around?

Hello Guys and Gals,

I am currently running CommerceCubes.com.... (the business in question).. i am starting to make some money through it and reinvesting it back into the business... but i have a question for you smart, intelligent marketers, advertisers and business people reading this...

I am trying to figure out how to "pour the profits" back into the system i am developing. I want to spend more time adding value to the business and less and less time hunting... basically building the market behind the company and services offered. I am looking to invest some money into a system over the next 30 days to help with this and wanted to know if anyone could offer some good recommendations off of systems they've used. The criterion for the system i am looking to use is....

1. Attract attention and bring people in your door
2. Convert these visitors into customers
3. Then sell more to the established customers since you know how to meet their needs

Excellent article: http://www.smallbusinessbranding.com...iness-success/

the last 2 are the most important in my opinion. Any recommendations are highly appreciated.

Some ideas i will be implementing that do not cost a thing are...

- Unique Content development related to the nature of the business.
- Business Case studies showcasing CommerceCubes work
- Development of How To Guides for osCommerce, X-Cart, etc. e-commerce platforms

These are forthcoming ideas that i am aiming to implement over the coming months. Any ideas or feedback would be appreciated... even if it sounds silly its worth a go! Talk soon

I'm not very good at reading big blocks of writing like that one that starts "I am trying to", but I can't get the gist of things.

What are you looking for? Software for SEO?

Hello Run,

No i am not looking for recommedations on SEO software. I am looking to add an auto-responder to my site but i am looking for software to track sales and increase ROI on my site as well. I've got ideas to optimize the pages themselves but i am looking for a good martketing system... an "all-in-one" if possible. Any thoughts?

Have you checked out SugarCRM? It's open source, but it's simply the most impressive opensource software that I've seen.

Cheers,

Cheers,
Thanks Day2,

I'll definitely install it and play around with it.... (I am building a L.A.M.P. for it right now)... any other suggestions guys.

Basically what i am looking at right now is the following....

- Aweber - for auto-response and opt-in lists, etc.
- SugarCRM - one of the best CRM's i've seen in the last little while and considering i've worked with PeopleSoft, SieBel, SalesForce.com and Clarify that says a lot

Are there any other tools you can think of that would be useful (Open-Source or otherwise)... i've got AWStats running to track traffic... please let me know. Talk soon Guys and Gals!

I would try google analytics for stats. It's still in beta, but sign up for an invite ASAP. It's basically an online version of the old Urchin Stats and I have been using it and really like it and how everything is set up. I hear people swear by Web CEO for SEO "all in one" software. Make give that a shot?

Testimonials and case studies are also great ways to boost conversions. If you haven't been to MarketingExperiments.com, definately check that site out. It's got great articles on increasing conversions and sales and I used to visit that site often when trying to increase sales on my old ecommerce store.

Actually, i've been reading MarketingExperiments.com quite often. I've got a few case studies i'll be posting soon... to be honest i've spend more time developing for other people then myself lately... which is a great thing. Also going to be playing around a bit with auto-responders in the coming months as well. Basically the key to all this is simply experimenting and finding out what works best for you.

I'll check out Google Analytics... is that connected to Adwords by any chance? I thought i saw that when i was it there last. Talk soon Ryan!
