    What I need

I have a some what good understanding on business and there is so much that I would like to do which I feel (of course) will be successful, but I seem to be lacking where it is so much that needs to be covered that I feel i need a team and i am at a stand still until i figure this out. The question I have for all of you who have moved forward in there business is have you came across this in your business where you felt you were missing something or needed someone to pull your coat tail just to get you started and how did you over come this task?

    Hi finfreedom,

It sounds like you are having motivation issues or business block. Some suggestions to jump start your business mind and put your skills in gear.

-read a book on a subject of interest or written by a great business mind

-join a local social / business group

-make a list of 1 thing new you will try every day

-think about your top 10 business ideas and work on your favorite

When people start having this dilemma the quote I always think about is the one that goes "There is no better time to start then now"

Really entrepreneurship is about just trying and failing. The greatest business minds are constantly working on something even if they may not really know what it is. Keep busy and your mind open and it will come.

Obviously first, one needs to have an idea. But the best thing you can do is once you have that idea, talk to people around you that you know and trust. Successful people. They can give you pointers. Talk to people here on YE, see what other people are saying. It is a big help.

Yes I have an idea just having trouble putting things together and yes a team is needed but finding the right people to work with is the task I am having and i dont want to be at a stand still, daveb1 what you said about staying busy is what I really need to do that is why I am posting as well to collect ideas and info as well, also hearing that its more of a trail and error type thing makes sense I just want to be able to try with some sense of direction as well so that I am successful.

Thanks guys for your replies all were needed!

You are procrastinating. That means you are delaying work that should be done. You probably need to give yourself a good old fashioned kick in the butt. I can't really talk as I am going through some severe procrastination myself. Leading theories about procrastination suggesest it may be caused by yourself beliving the task is a waste of time, or fear of failure and even fear of success.

    See:

And like was suggested above; find people who motivate you.

@Mikeoto you must know how frustrating I feel going about getting it done, and you are right just need that kick in the ass to get me going more. I think the procrastination comes more from lack of direction and knowing how to go about getting the task done. That is what I struggle more with and need more help with, but I must say just getting busy is helping me overcome this by finding my stories that give a guideline on how to go about getting it done. I wasnt able to see the links you posted if you can send them to me again I will take a look at it!
@Rankx if you can message me I will give you some of what I got and take in any feedback you may have

Thanks again to all of you for the comments!
