What do you think about Quickbooks merchant accounts?

So we all know Card Service is horrible. We want to switch.

Has anyone used QuickBooks Credit Card merchant services for their credit card processing?

No cancel fees no minimums, seems like only $14,95 a month compared to $55 with Card Service, not to mention all the stupid fees with Card Service for god knows what.

So can anyone say anything about Quickbooks merchant services and their experiances with them?

Thanks

$55 is quite a bit. It seems that the agent that signed you up probably just set you up with the highest fees he could.

If you are online, usually the (LinkPoint) gateway fee is about $15-$25 a month with no transaction fees. (If LinkPoint charged a transaction fee like the other gateways, perhaps then they might not charge a batch fee.) Then there is a customer service fee of $10.

So right now, that is $25-$35. They have a minimum, usually $15-$25. But if you are processing at 2.19% and sell over $1,150 that month, there is nothing to worry about.

Depending on the contract, there is no cancellation fee as well. There are different programs that your agent can sign you up on, and it just sounds like your agent might have made a little extra money on your account

Corey is correct and seems to really know his stuff.

Have you tried asking your bank about what sort of merchant services they offer? I was able to get a great rate over there and a processing fee of only 2.1% since I had already opened a business account with them.
