What do you think?

I was wondering if I could run a restaurant on wheels.
I live in Toronto, and I hear that the only vending carts allowed are hot dogs carts.
But what about trucks?
Can trucks sell other types of food, say hamburgers or soup?
Fresh cooked mind you, not pre-packaged.

There are restaurants on wheels (snack shops), they drive around and show up at different factories at break time. It seems to do pretty good. You could go to shops early morning say 8-noon than hit up downtown for the afternoon.

In the military there is something similar to that. My experience with one is when I would go down to the Fort in PA and during lunch, a lady would come around with a truck full of food. The sides and back opened up and inside was chips, candy, candybars, drinks, donuts, hamburgers, hotdogs, sausage, coffee, hot chocolate, ...etc. The lady did pretty good with it as everyone hates army food.

If you can find a market for it and be there often, I think you could do pretty well.
