What do you see in the future?

I was just wondering, what do you guys think will happen with the economy in 2009. I have a feeling things will temporarily get better and slowly come back down to our current level. I believe the economy will slowly rebuild itself after this and be back to stability in about 3-4 years. What are your opinions?

marketing is on a boom these days. advertisers pump in more money at lower costs to get eyeballs.

to get eyeball attention, sales/discounts will play a huge role. the point is to encourage spending.

job finding is on a boom as well. (not just home based jobs)

a very good indicator of job demand -> job recruitment sites, see what kind of jobs ppl are looking for

ONE of the WORST mistakes is to cut back on Marketing! This is when you have to pull out all the stops and go full force ahead. You have to be REALISTIC but you sure as hell can't stick your head in the sand!Q

As a long time serial entrepreneur of 34 years I actually am seeing MORE business coming my way IF I go out and GET it! I'm finding it pretty easy to offer our Web 2 Marketing services and video production LOCALLY right where I live in my own neighborhood. Most of these people have not got a clue what SEO, SEM, Web 2, Semanatic Indexing, etc. is. They know they need new ways to promote themselves but are in a fog.

Also as a barter expert for the past 25 years I see barter has being HUGE in 2009 and even beyond. Another barter expert told me he thinks that the first TRILLIONAIRE will come from barter expertise.

Just so happens I launched a BarterWealth Network you might want to check out! It's FREE!

my expectation is for the economy to decline until the final quarter of this year, at that point i expect the economy to move forward and begin to rebuild.

The most important thing is to invest in marketing and mystery shopping. By combining both it shows you are commited and it will also allow a business to gain market share against it's competitors who are reducing expenses by cutting marketing budgets and also staff levels!

Invest and reap the rewards in a couple of years!
