What do YOU look for?

What do you look for when choosing a printing company?

I need some opinions from all of you that will make my company better than the current company you use.

I have...
Competitive prices
Secure payments online
Good customer service
World Wide shipping
Creative Designs

Besides that, what do you look for when you choose a printing company?

Thanks!

Both. Most things we do are over the website but if they are local customers then we accept "walk ins"

for me, price is less important than quality and service... I don't currently use or have a printer but when I did, I looked for a guy who understood my needs and could quickly help me find my best solution....

But, a major red flag for me (pet peeve) is while I am transacting business in real life and the sales guy get's interrupted with another customer either over the phone or standing next to me and starts helping that guy while i am standing there with cash in my hand??? AHHH!!!!! I'm gone. Take care of the customer in front of you before trying to score the next one.

I see this over and over again...

Good honest customer service can not be over estimated...will bring you customers who are willing to pay more.

Internet is very easy in that regard because it gives you time o focus on each individual customer... real life is more difficult but still, their is no excuse for poor sales behavior.

For me, I want the lowest price, while meeting a minimum level of quality. I decide what quality I want, and then I search for the least expensive way to get that quality. Why pay more for higher quality when I don't NEED that higher quality. Cost-benefit analysis.

I should also mention to stress quality... quality work brings quality customers... the penny pinchers andtight wads and bargain hunters really aren't even worth having as a customer because they will dog you for every nickle in profits and than go to the next guy over another penny in savings. (and dog you to death because you trie to make a nickle!)

they want the crappiest and cheapest stuff and they don't want to pay anything either...

So, If you yourself become a quality customer to other companies, stores etc.. develope your own customer standards than you will attract those people who won't sell you out for an extra nickle and will pay you a fair price for your experience and knowledge as well as your product... otherwise, go tell them to buy their own printer!

(sorry if any of you all fall in the cheap skate tightwad penny pinching bargain hunting scavenger shopping types category... maybe those people can try harder to be better customers.

Price, Most of the printed material i buy is given voluntarily, thus "bad" quality would not cause me to loose business.

I use to own my own company myself doing printing so for me quality and price are equal. Because I know how much it cost. I have a website that I do all my printing through, but I can't do customized sizes. But I can design the cards myself and they print them, with high quality printing and paper.

That is what I look for, hope that helps.
