Red face What Can I Sell On Ebay 2010 ?

    Hi
not been on here in a while its all changed lol
anyway my question is , what can i sell on ebay in 2010 ?
i want it to be small enough so i can just put it in an envolope and i dont need to go to the post office and pay for boxes and then posting charges for big boxes .

I did this just before christmas selling ed hardy hats .
i live in a country village and was selling at least 1 hat a day so i would need to drive in to town everyday just to get a hat posted.

so whats small enough to sell on ebay that will sell and i just need to pop it in an envolope then in the postbox ?

cheers and all the best for 2010

With Ebays high costs, it's hard to sell items on there anymore. You list an item for $1.00 and pay $2.50 in fees.

Well, myfatt has a point about eBay, but that's not what you asked...

How about memory cards? Those have a good size to price ratio for you.

I have a small Ebay business that seems to be growing rather quickly. in fact i just had to build a small inventory room and shipping/receiving area last week.

I try to find small technical and laboratory companies that are moving, downsizing or shutting down. i talk to them about selling me some of their unused and unwanted equipment or inventory that they dont care to liquidate and they would rather just scrap or trash it. you'd be surprised at the kind of stuff scientists keep stashed around places like that. and you'd be really surprised how much people will pay on ebay for some of the junk tech companies just have lying around. most times you can get a really good deal when purchasing the stuff. theses companies just throw perfectly good working (older) equipment away all the time!!

That's my idea anyways, it does involve a lot of searching, driving and time on the phone. but worth it in my eyes...

Not true. Ebay is still a huge money maker, my dad makes around £3k a month from Ebay and he's only been selling items for around 3 months now. People won't tell you what the best items are to sell or they'd be selling them take a look at what sells best over at http://pulse.ebay.com/
