What can i do with £800?

i have £800 saved up and i want to make money from it instead of it laying there doing nothing .
i was thinking maybe buy and sell ?
ideas would be greatly appreciated .

Im probz not the best person to answer out of all the members on here, but my step-dad used to do a lot with shares and the stock market. Maybe thats an option, but i know it can take quite a while to see results... and with £800, the results probably won't be worth the time and effort its took. Still, its got to be better than the interest you get from leaving it in the bank!
