What biz would you create on a plot of land?

Let's say you bought a small plot of land (say 1 acre) a bit far from the nearest metropolitan area for a good price. It has decent infrastructure (road, water, electricity) ,but not great, and light vegetation on it.
What activity could you carry on this land so it covers at least your land tax while you wait for it to appreciate over the long term (30 years + )? In addition, this activity should be of very low maintenance and preferably have low set up costs.
Looking forward to hearing your creative ideas

For me I would only acquire land to be used for business that involves several transactions from customers. For example, a hotel, a store, a park, etc. and not just a home or apartment complex that, for the most part, has a fixed income and comes to you in a longer period as income. With a hotel, people are checking in almost daily, store = products are being sold and restocked daily, park = people are visiting daily etc. So think about something that interests you and you can do with passion. Good luck!

Thanks for your advice. But I was actually thinking more of a passive income generator. Something that would require minimum attention but would be enough to cover land tax. I can easily think of an illegal crop to put on the land, but sure don't wanna go down that road. Besides that, no better ideas so far...
