Although some businesses know that marketing is important, some marketing strategies & campaigns are done SO WRONGLY & UNPROFITABLE..

Remember the OVERLY-AMAUTUERISH or OVERLY-DESIGNED brochures you got?

They are unaware of how to use them in the most resourceful manner..

Two things many start-up businesses do wrong...

1) Too much management overhead structure - start lean and grow as it makes financial sense.
2) Trying to be all things to all people - find what you do well and be a specialist.. there are too many generalist companies around.

Startup Mistake # 1: First, being a "carpenter" is too general. There are a million carpenters in the world, but the only successful ones have something to concentrate on. Wood carving, house renovation, specialized pieces. Like the old saying goes, "Jack of all trades, master of none."

Startup Mistake # 2: If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. An idea is not a business plan, or a marketing plan, or even just a goal. It is simply an idea. Although the planning process may seem long and tedious now, it will benefit you more than you could imagine in the future. For example, when you are seeking funding, when you are joining an association of professionals, when your goals change, when your business changes, or if you take on a partner or investor. Your plan should guide you, but not constrain you. If something in your plan doesn't fit just right, change it. Your business plan will never have a final draft.

There are five main things that businesses are missing that create their further mistakes: 1) If one is joining a start up business one must make sure that the founders have experience and credibility 2) Is the product in the business a good product 3) Is the product a timely product 4) How is the compensation plan structured? Do some number crunching and figure out how many people do you need in your organization to reach your financial goals. 5) Is there a duplicatable system in place that can be taught to people that come into your business? To learn more about what I am talking about, please take time to view this ebook that completely changed my life and my business!

Already been mentioned, but my top 3 start-up mistakes are:
  1. No proper planning
  2. insufficient start up capital
  3. Lack of specific knowledge, skills or partners with such skills

I think real Internet success is built by people who never even read lists like this.
They don't worry or ever think about survival or loosing ground. They are like money making animals.....seeking out there prey. It's a hunt..the game....the love of the sport.
They won't settle for anything less than being the best. They know if they become the best. Then no one can beat them....they then control the market place, they control the Internet. They are unstoppable. They are Rich !!..........your mindset is very important. I know ...because I desriibed myself. and i have made more money online than anyone I know. And over the years have meet others in Internet marketing...and guess what?.........they all had the same point of veiw...amazing....

Thank's For Sharing These Mistakes With us,Here i'm also sharing With one Of the Common Mistakes these are as Follows
The most common type of start-up business is wherein you re-create an existing business. The more successful the business is the more likely it will be re-created by new entrepreneurs. One issue that should be considered is “primping the pump.” Say for example, I decide to start an online business I am done launching my website however due to lack of promotion no one comes to the site. Therefore, what I do is just abandon the business altogether. So, one day out of nowhere someone comes and visits the website I put up, this person decides to purchase something. However, since no one was replying to the messages he sent he leaves my website and looks for another one that offers the same product. So you see even if you have the best products online if you do not prime the pump with adequate buyers you will not succeed.
