What are the best Accelerator/Incubator Programs in New York?

My young company is looking to move to new York for the summer. We're aware of a few accelerator programs such as Techstars ERA and DreamitVentures. But we're looking for advice from people in New York as to which would be the best for a young tech company. We need technical advice and equity structuring suggestions.

Why not apply to all of them and see which one you can get in? TechStars is good from what I hear. There are a lot of NYC startup websites like Ultralight, startupdigest, techevents, etc. You might want to contact or read the blogs from famous NYC VC such as Fred Wilson, Union Square ventures, and Chris Dixon. I don't live in NYC but am considering moving there. Techcrunch does a lot of stories on Silicon Alley, so research there. It might be better to move to California if your company/idea is good enough - it depends on what industry you are focusing on.

Also, join the NY Tech meetup group:
