    We've expanded to Europe

    Whats going on everyone?

All summer I've been working on making a deal with a distributor in Germany to distribute our shoes in Europe. The deal finally went through and Wilbs Shoes is now in Europe.

I'd been receiving orders from Europe but the shipping costs for a single pair were too high. So we're all ecstatic that the deal happened.

As always, any suggestions are welcomed.

Excellent. Thats an important breakthrough. I think shipping single shoes would definitely not have been feasible in the long run hence its best you got a dealer to order in bulk.

Well, the distributor actually contacted me. This was while we were searching for a distributor in Europe, so it was great timing.
This is our fifth year as a company and over the last few years we've turned our attention to certain keywords and that has turned out to be really successful for us.

Anyone else have a certain marketing tool they've tried that has turned out to be successful? or have any suggestions for me? I'm always open for suggestions/improvements.

Sounds like an amazing story. Perhaps you might become the next Zappos! Keep your spirits high and focus. Are you, by any chance, using any social media tools to keep engaged with your customers? such as facebook, twitter? Use them to announce sales, trends, events, changes, and sometimes for a little Q and A as well. It's a tough market for your type of business but, hey, Zappos prevailed and so can YOU! Find a niche that is buying your products the most. Focus on that because many entrepreneurs can compete against the big boys by doing just that.

Here are some ideas for you bro!

How to Test Market a New Product
How To Determine Your Customer Demographics

    Good luck!
